So here's a few I like for various reasons: Citizen Kane, The Rules of the Game, Ikuru, The Seven Samurai, The Thin Man, King Kong, The Wizard of Oz, Duck Soup, The Bride of Frankenstein, Fantasia, Pinocchio, The Sweet Smell of Success, Network, The Philadelphia Story, The Red Shoes, most Buster Keaton films, many Chaplin films, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World, Godzilla, Drunken Master 2, Jaws, The Shining, Dr. What is your favorite film? Same problem. Contenders would include the "Flower Duet" from the opera Lakme, Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue", Hoagy Carmichael's "Stardust Memory", "Kid" by the Pretenders, "Waterloo Sunset" by the Kinks, "Picture This" by Blondie, "Sleepwalk" by Santo and Johnny, scores more if not hundreds I can't think of at the moment.
